Hi there!

Hi! I'm Samantha Amaya, but you can call me Sam. I’m the owner of The Holistic Honeysuckle. You will often find me sipping on a latte and looking at birth photography on Instagram.

I live in Greenville, SC with my husband and 4 kids. I am passionate about the idea that wellness is a holistic endeavor; body, mind, and soul all need cared for to reach the fullest potential and best health.

I am passionate about breastfeeding and completed a 95+ hour course in 2023 to become a Certified Lactation Support Provider. I am also a professional member of Postpartum University and am knowledgable about postpartum nutrition, herbs, and mental health.

“Birth is not only about making babies.
Birth is about making mothers--strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves
and know their inner strength.”

-Barbara Katz Rothman

Client Reviews

“I found her through instagram and had a zoom call where she went over so much information about breast feeding and all that I needed to know. I loved it and it helped me a lot. Then after I had my baby, I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. I texted her and she came over and she spent an hour and a half with me. It gave me a peace of mind and I really appreciated the advice she gave me! Definitely would recommend her to anyone who is struggling with breast feeding and needs that extra support!!”

“To review Sam is an honor. I feel nothing short of blessed by her care. This was my fourth postpartum experience and it was the best by far thanks to Sam. She was the most caring, understanding soul, with humor, professionalism and warmth. She made many, many, delicious meals for me and my family, left the kitchen gleaming, did laundry, brought unforgettable gifts and more! I felt deeply nourished and understood. I so looked forward to her visits each week. I will look back so fondly over this postpartum period and recommend her wholeheartedly to new and seasoned moms alike. I cannot imagine this time without her and feel ready to ease back into life with a reset nervous system, a full heart, and clear mind. My gratitude absolutely overflows for this incredible woman!”

“Sam’s postpartum meal prep was such a gift during those early newborn weeks. The meals were warm, nourishing, and clearly made with postpartum recovery in mind. Having healing food ready to go helped me rest more, recover better, and feel genuinely cared for when I didn’t have the energy to think about cooking.”
